Immersible & Submersible Ultrasonic Transducers
Got the right tank but not the right tools for the precision cleaning your parts need?
With Ultrasonic Power Corporation’s high-quality, high-performing piezoelectric immersible ultrasonic transducers, you can add the ultrasonic advantage to your existing cleaning system.
We can bond and wire our Vibra-bar® transducer modules into a stainless steel container with a sealed lid. This “shoebox” container can be submerged in liquid and connected to a generator to bring ultrasonic power to a standard stainless steel tank.
Our immersible shoebox containers are available as bulk-head containers that are fixed to a tank with bolts or as free-standing containers that rest on the bottom or hang on the sides of a tank.
We provide a range of container sizes, and can create custom containers to suit tanks of unusual shapes or sizes.
Immersible Transducer Mounting Configurations
Bulkhead – Bulkhead immersibles are mounted to the wall or bottom of a tank with the 6 foot (or optionally up to 50 foot) coaxial cable passing through the mounting holes. There are typically 2 mounting holes required, but there may be more depending upon the size and wattage of the transducer.
Bottom Mount – Bottom mount immersibles are much like bulkhead immersibles in that they are mounted to the wall or bottom of a tank, but in this style the 6 foot (or optionally up to 50 foot) coaxial cable passes through a 3 foot (or optionally 6 foot) flexible hose out of the tank.
Wall Hanging – Wall hanging immersibles are attached to the top lip of a tank with a hanger bracket that is depth-adjustable in increments of 1 inch, to ensure that the transducer remains submerged in the cleaning process. Wall hanging immersibles, like bottom mount, use a 3 foot (or optionally 6 foot) flexible hose to pass the 6 foot (or optionally up to 50 foot) coaxial cable out of the tank.

Why Use a Submersible or Immersible Ultrasonic Transducer?
Having the right tools for precision cleaning is important, and for many parts, ultrasonic cleaning provides a simple yet efficient solution to restoring critical components back to an acceptable level of cleanliness. Ultrasonic cleaning can remove stubborn, difficult-to-reach soils while remaining gentle enough to avoid damage to delicate components.
Often, a standard ultrasonic unit is not economical or practical to use for critical parts, especially when dealing with unique shapes, or when a cleaning system is already in place. The ideal solution may be to add an immersible or submersible ultrasonic transducer to existing or alternative cleaning equipment.
Why Choose a UPCorp Immersible or submersible Ultrasonic Transducer?
When investing in an ultrasonic cleaning solution, you need to be sure that your chosen equipment is of the highest quality and built to last. Designed and manufactured in the USA, all UPCorp products are held against exceptional standards and come with an extended warranty.
We offer several immersible ultrasonic transducermodels to fit different parts of a tank. Bulkhead, bottom mount, and wall hanging units are available in a variety of sizes and we can even manufacture custom units to fit your needs. Not sure which model to go with? Talk to a UPCorp expert about your needs and we’ll help you find the right solution.
What is an immersible transducer?
Deep cleaning immersible ultrasonic transducers give you the ability to add the ultrasonic advantage to your existing cleaning application. We bond and wire the retrofit submersible ultrasonic transducer inside a durable stainless steel container, and seal it with a stainless steel lid. This gives you the ability to "drop-in" transducers to an existing tank or application.
How do ultrasonic transducers work? What does an ultrasonic transducer do?
An ultrasonic transducer is a key component in an ultrasonic cleaner. When you power up the unit, the transducer produces ultrasonic waves. These waves cause bubbles to form in the liquid and it’s the collapsing of these bubbles that ultimately provides the energy for the cleaning process. In a process known as cavitation, the collapsing bubbles release hot liquid jets that can remove contaminants adhered to the surface of the submerged object.
