Why Use an Ultrasonic Medical & Surgical Instrument Cleaner?
When considering which cleaning method to use for medical and surgical instruments, the ultrasonic cleaner is a superior choice for a number of reasons. An ultrasonic surgical instrument cleaner is simple to operate and the cleaning process is extremely quick. This means devices and instruments are available and staff have more time to spend on other tasks.
Ultrasonic cleaning is an extremely thorough method that enables you to ensure every surface of an object is completely clean. When hand cleaning, it’s virtually impossible to reach the crevices of some instruments and devices, even when using special tools and brushes. When an object is immersed in an ultrasonic cleaner, ultrasonic waves reach every part of the item’s surface, gently removing all residue. Objects are dried quickly to prevent rusting or corrosion.
A bonus is that ultrasonic cleaning doesn’t require the use of harsh chemicals, avoiding exposure to harmful vapors and reducing the risk of skin irritation.
