Ultrasonic Power Corp introduces 5400 Series Generator,  a technological breakthrough in ultrasonic cleaning performance

Ultrasonic Power Corp has introduced a breakthrough in ultrasonic power sources—the Model 5400 Series generator.

The Model 5400 generator incorporates a new patent-pending circuit which the company has called a “Transducer Status Indicator,” which will indicate the status of the transducers connected to each 500 watt output. An LED will indicate if there is a problem.

The new Model 5400 also incorporates an Overheat Protection System Indicator that will protect the generator from high temperatures caused by overheating due to air blockage or fan failure. This will practically eliminate problems with operators forgetting to clean the generators which invariably results in failures, according to Steven Myers, UPC’s Manager of Engineering and Product Development.

The Model 5400 generator also includes a PLC input/output connector with On/Off control, intensity control, sweep control, alarm output, and power indicator output and provides the ability to control the generator externally.

Other features include:

  • UP-Sweep ™ -- a 4 kHz variable sweep that eliminates “hot spots” and “dead zones.”
  • Automatic short and open output protection.
  • Automatic frequency and load control.
  • Power Intensity Control (PIC), which maximizes flexibility to clean small delicate items or large bulk items.

UPC generators provide consistent, predictable ultrasonic cleaning power throughout the cleaning bath. This proven design provides a constant output power even as the solution temperature or load volume increases.

Like the other Ultrasonic Power Corporation generators (Models 5300 and 5200), the Model 5400 Ultrasonic generator uses solid state circuitry backed by 20 years of field proven reliability and is guaranteed to be free from defects in workmanship and materials for a period of two years from initial shipment date.

Ultrasonic Power Corporation, the leader in precision ultrasonic cleaning technology, headquartered in Freeport, IL, offers a full line of standard ultrasonic cleaning systems ranging from bench top units (one to 52 gallons) to portable 39, 90, 135 and 204 gallon systems. Custom systems larger than 1700 gallons are also available along with complete automated or manual lifting gantry packages and multi-stage systems, with wash, rinse and dry tanks.

UPC serves customers in industries worldwide, including aerospace, pharmaceutical, orthopedics, semi-conductors, manufacturing, power sports, racing and restoration. They also provide their transducers and generators to other ultrasonic companies.

Ultrasonic Power Corp. introduces PAR72™ club head and grip cleaner

FREEPORT, IL …..Ultrasonic Power Corp (UPC) has introduced the newest club cleaner

in its line of golf club cleaning equipment.

The Model PAR72™ is a heavy duty, table-top ultrasonic cleaning tank which cleans club heads in one to two minutes. The PAR72™ also revitalizes grips in about 30 seconds, restoring them to their original tackiness. Several heads and grips can be cleaned simultaneously.

The Model PAR72™ is an ideal addition to any private club pro shop’s maintenance program for members. Keeping grips tacky on a weekly or more frequent basis, depending on play, helps all club members keep those scores low.  And getting into the grooves of irons will improve ball flight control and spin on the green.

At public and municipal courses, the PAR72™ is a workhorse for generating additional revenue. Pros can charge a single amount to clean one or more clubs (heads and grips) prior to players teeing off, or offer specials at the end of the round. Either way, the PAR72™ will pay for itself in a few months.

The PAR72™, with a capacity of 4.2 gallons, has internal dimensions of 9” (W) by 9” (L) by 12” deep, the perfect depth to accommodate most grips.

The ultrasonic cleaning unit is fabricated from stainless steel, with the tank being 14 gauge 316L stainless.

The built-in UPC generator delivers 250 watts average output, which powers three Vibra-bar® transducers and produces continuous ultrasonic cleaning action. 500 watts of heat is also available at a flip of the switch.

Ultrasonic Power Corporation, headquartered in Freeport, IL, offers a full line of ultrasonic cleaning systems ranging from bench top units with smaller tanks (one through 33 gallons), standard cleaning systems of 39 and 90 gallons, and custom consoles up to 700 gallons. Ultrasonic Power Corporation introduces compact, multi-frequency 1000 and 1500 watt generators

FREEPORT, IL….Ultrasonic Power Corporation has introduced new 1000 watt and 1500 watt generators that offer higher efficiencies than competitive units and the convenience of a 2-in-1 generator without plug-in’s or modules.

Both models are ideal for manufacturers of medium to large ultrasonic cleaning systems which may have limited generator mounting space or who desire to build more compact cleaning systems.

The 1000 watt generator will operate at frequencies of 25kHz, 40 kHz, 68 kHz, 132 kHz or 170 kHz and at 120 or 240 volts. The 1500 watt generator is available in the same frequencies and at 240 volts.

Users can specify two separate frequencies for the 1000 watt generator (500 watts each) and three separate frequencies for the 1500 watt generator (500 watts each).

Exterior physical dimensions are 5.25 x 13.75 x 12.5 in for the 1000 watt generator. The 1500 watt generator is 5.25 x 13.5 x 13.5 in.

A variable power intensity control is standard on all generators. An optional Digi-EXput® meter with toggle switch allows instant, real time measurement of both actual wattage and frequency output.

The UPC Model 5300 generator is the most electrically efficient ultrasonic cleaning generator available on the market today.

This powerful, state-of-the-art generator has two simple controls for easy use—power intensity control and sweep frequency control. When applied with Vibra-Bar® transducers, the Model 5300 delivers Simultaneous Multi-Frequency® for both an electrical sweep of the base frequency, and a mechanical multi-frequency movement of the "Vibra-Bar®" transducers. Producing uniform cavitations with aqueous as well as semi-aqueous material, this combination provides the most effective cleaning action available in the industry.

Ultrasonic Power Corporation has been manufacturing ultrasonic generators and transducers and immersibles for more than 35 years. They are considered the industry standard for quality, efficiency and reliability.
