Ultrasonic Cleaning System Gives Cagnazzi Racing an Edge
MOORESVILLE, N.C. (July 25, 2007) -- Ultrasonic Power Corporation, makers of the Ultrasonic Cleaning System, becomes an associate sponsor of the Cagnazzi Racing team. The Freeport, Ill. based company will supply Cagnazzi Racing with their state-of-the-art Ultrasonic Cleaning System, which uses water-based, biodegradable, environmentally friendly detergents instead of harsh solvents and acids traditional systems use.
"Pro Stock is the most competitive form of racing on the planet," Owner Victor Cagnazzi said. "We can win or lose a race by less than a thousandth of a second, so any advantage we can get on the track, or back in the shop is important to the team. The Ultrasonic Cleaning System gives us one of those advantages."
Joe Hornick, Director of Engine Development for Cagnazzi Racing agrees. "We use the latest technology to make horsepower at Cagnazzi Racing," Hornick said. "Having a system like this allows us to use the latest technology to make sure our engine components are as clean as possible before final assembly. Now we can do that better, cheaper, and in an environmentally friendly way."
Cagnazzi Racing team drivers Jeg Coughlin Jr. and Dave Connolly currently sit no. 2 and no. 3 in the NHRA POWERade Pro Stock championship chase. Cagnazzi Racing also supplies engines to NHRA Pro Stock driver Ron Krisher, who took runner-up honors at the Mile-High Nationals earlier this month.

DP7 Racing chooses Ultrasonic Power Corporation
Houston, Texas, March 5, 2009 -- Ultrasonic Power Corporation, leaders of the Ultrasonic Cleaning Industry, becomes associate sponsors of the DP7 Racing. The Freeport, Ill. based company will supply DP7 Racing with a new 135 gallon, state-of-the-art Ultrasonic Cleaning System, which uses water-based, biodegradable, environmentally friendly detergents instead of harsh solvents traditional systems use.
Dan Pastorini, former NFL Houston Oiler quarterback and his group of racing professionals from NASCAR, Indy Car, and NHRA are taking the only Lamborghini in the USA, the DP7 Racing Lamborghini Gallardo GTR to be part of the 2009 SCCA Speed World Cup Challenge Series, which begins at Sebring International Raceway in Florida on March 12-14, 2009.
“My first love has always been racing. However, football and racing are a lot alike because you have a game plan, you give feedback to your crew chief, and then he implements a race plan. There are windows of opportunity in both sports,” says Pastorini. “We chose UPCORP because of the quality of their products and knowledge of their staff.”
Pastorini got in contact with Steve Myers of UPCORP with the challenge of providing a system to clean the Lamborghini V10 engine and components. Myers chose the new 135 gallon, portable cleaning system to do the job. “It’s the largest standard, self-contained system on the market,” Myers said. “It has plenty of room and power to handle the Lamborghini V10 engine.”
